We visited Nuthurst Grange for the first time yesterday to sample their Sunday lunch. We have to say that the whole experience was fantastic. The pre dinner canapés in the cosy and sumptuous lounge got the meal off to a great start and continued through the whole of the afternoon. We both went for the Pork terrine, roast beef and... More

My wife and I visited the Nuthurst Grange for Sunday lunch today. A first for this, but we've been coming here over the years for various visits, from weddings to dinner to 80th birthday parties. It's a great location, with great views, although sadly in the summer if you sit outside, you do hear the roar of the M40 in... More

Went to nut hurst grange for a Xmas dinner dance . Lovely setting grounds were lovely as you drive into car park. Food ok not a lot of it and not piping hot . Disco ok never played any of our tables requests . Thought it was adult only, there was one table with a little one seemed a bit... More

Would not have come here had TA/internet existed. It is a welcoming place with lovely grounds and nicely presented and tasting food. As it operates as a restaurant in this hotel, numbers (of diners) may be unpredictable. The lunch time we went, it started to get busier as the first hour past. Not in the orangery per se where you... More

Visited the restaurant on Xmas Day for lunch. Although the cost was at the higher end of the scale it was worth every penny. The food was excellent and the level of service offered was exceptional.

Overall a good dining experience, very minor quibbles. Stunning starter from Special Vegetarian Menu. Beautifully plated, with attention to detail. Pork Wellington was a bit tough, and friend thought Seafood Lasagne was a wee bit dry. Impressive canapés, including Aranchini style Cottage Pie! Superb home made rolls & whipped butter. We were there for Sunday lunch which was exceptional! Superb service, and traditional fare - all prepared to the liking of each of our guests. The prawn and crawfish cocktail/appetiser is a delicious twist on an old favourite. This was our first visit and we will definitely return!

A colleague and I stayed here overnight while away on business. The food was delicious, compliments to an excellent chef. I have to say the staff could not do enough for you, they were polite, attentive and very welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate coming here again.

We were a family of six adults and two small children. This was our first visit and we will certainly be back. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive particularly in view of having to negotiate the table avoiding toys etc. The food was excellent, particularly the roast beef and the lamb not to mention the wonderful bread plus the... Was kindly invited here to celebrate an anniversary. We met the rest of the party in the bar area whilst our room was being prepared. We were led through to a private room, where it was spacious, but I found a little warm. Food was ok. We ate, had a nice afternoon and left.
