New menu is expensive for 2 or 3 courses and large supplements of £5.50 just for a sirloin steak and £3.50 extra if your course has the cheese board dessert..

We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. As it was Wednesday I took advantage of their gin +tonic offer for £5, what a choice of gins. I had the Wheatsheaf Burger which is something I don't usually choose and it was delicious, husband had the lamb pie which was equally enjoyed. I have found all the Red Mist... More

Visited last Sunday with 2 other adults and 2 kids. Friendly staff and warm decor. Kids meals were excellent, chipolatas, chips and glazed carrots; mini burger chips and peas for the other. Great desserts. Ordered the Sunday lunch that was perfect, huge Yorkshire, perfectly roasted potatoes and deliciously fresh veggies, two thick slices of Surrey beef. Could not fault the... More

The staff are friendly and helpful. The place has a really nice atmosphere and is children friendly. The food is very tasty, (rare roast beef-fabulous) and very good portions. All round it was a great lunch. There was a mistake with my sons order but that was quickly rectified and then I noticed that I wasn't charged for his meal... More

We have been here a few times and the food is always good, nice atmosphere and a good place to come with friends and couples alike. Good value for money to, would recommend the bread board with roasted garlic. The only down side on this visit was service was a bit slow other then that a nice evening

Lunch here a couple of days ago. I would say the £10.95 2 course menu is first class value and probably the best you will get in Farnham. Tasty smoked mackerel pate followed by really excellent haddock and chips, superbly cooked. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Note, we arrived at 12 and were fine but when we left around 1.15 the... Never been there before now but always heard good things and was not disappointed. The pub is family friendly, nicely decorated with a lovely ambience. Good selection of beers and fantastic food. My group had the Sunday roast lunches which were fantastic and very well portioned! I had the beef and mushroom pie which was very tasty accompanied with a... More

I went there for drinks a couple of times and had their broccoli and stilton soup for lunch once. It is a place that is often crowded, they do have a nice wine selection and the decor is quite nite.
