Couldn't fault it. Lovely food. Great service. Fairly good beer garden, although I have sat in better. Good toilet, and nice be, all reasonably priced. Didn't take advantage of being near a major tourist attraction.

Lived in the area for 17 years and food at P of W always been average to poor. Really pleased to say this was really good. Generous well cooked burger and two interesting fish dishes. Family very pleased.

We booked a table for our wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were welcomed by George at the bar and then we were shown to out table in the dining room. The fresh flowers and candle were a very nice touch. My wife had red Malbec and I had Camden ale. Our favourite part was the mains. Stonebass and porkbelly.... More

It may have been the chef had been out the night before (no real excuse) but my breakfast was great . I was so looking forward to a nice breakfast from this place but unfortunately it wasn't going to be the case . Sausages where overdone and bacon really crispy, the bread they used for the toast was hard and... More

I had previously written a poor review after having a rather under par Sunday lunch. The manager Ollie had kindly sent me a £40 voucher to use at a later date as form of an apology- even though at the time, a couple of dishes were knocked off the bill. I returned last Friday night with my wife and a... More

We went to this place for lunch with a few friends in March this year. The service was great as we did not have long to wait for our orders to be taken. We were given a list of the local ales and beers if we wanted to select our drinks from. Great idea as we could taste the local... More

Went here with friends on a busy bank holiday, just had a BBQ burger and chips but had more flavour than any I have had for ages. Service was very attentive and professional by George. Good selection of beer too :-)
