Came in for meeting with a couple of my friends & we decided to order food. Very attentive and friendly service, well cooked food - I had fishcakes and they were wonderful. Impressive service, will be back again with more friends!

Found this pub by chance, glad we did. New owners had just started serving food that day. Excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere. Will call in again if passing.

Questions & Answers
Hello, rather than leave a poor review I wanted to give you the opportunity to answer a question. My party of four popped in this lunch time having booked a table earlier and we ordered four baguettes. The service was not at all good, having to wait 50 mins and me having to ask how much longer we will be waiting for our order (one couple next to us got fed up and left). If we were time constrained this intended relaxing meal would have become much more stressful than it did as the waiting got longer. Can you tell me if you intend improving this as looking at other reviews it seems quite a problem you have. Also, do you prioritise serving reserved tables over those who come in having not booked? I must add, the food was very good indeed and I would really like to see you succeed but your in very real danger of getting a reputation for very poor service. Thank you.
