What a find! Excellent coffee and without doubt the best apple scones we have ever tasted. They were warm and fresh, we chose to have them with butter and jam - and what amazing home made apple jam! The lovely owner of this cafe managed...to find us a jar of the jam to take home, we will certainly enjoy it. Everything home made in this cosy, friendly cafe. We will certainly call in again next time we are in the area.More

We had afternoon tea here over the weekend. It was amazing. The lady was doing service and preparing the food alone and she done a great job. We didn’t wait long at all. The scones were warm and delicious as were the crumpets! The sandwich...was also amazing! Thank you very muchMore

Such a dear little place. We had a lovely breakfast here the crumpets are really something special. The lovely owner also does mail order so my daughter in Scotland will be receiving a Crumpet care package.

Greeted by a really nice lady who owns the tea room. All cakes are freshly made on site. The homemade crumpets look amazing and they serve cafetière coffee - the coffee is roasted in the village.

We passed though Porlock twice recently and on the second pass decided to stop to stretch our legs and get some lunch. Most places were closed with it being a Sunday, but Bramdowns was open! We had the Veggie Pie and Steak and Ale Pie...- both delicious and baked fresh that morning. Great value for the portion size. We'll be back to try the cream tea when we next visit the area :DMore

Wow what a cracking little find. The most amazing scones I have ever had (and I’m gluten free so that saying something!) Very welcoming tea room and everything freshly made.... just like being in someone’s living room. A delightful experience.
