Lovely Traditional Tearoom, close to the centre of Porlock, serving breakfast until 11am, light lunches, cakes, cream teas including an option of our lovely Whortleberry jam,savoury teas with West Country cider chutney and our special cakestand teas, everything is homemade and we serve throughout the day, we also cater for special dietary needs and we are dog friendly

THE Breakfst.

Please open soon. Really need one of your breakfasts ! :) So I can have some lunch then have tea and sample the lovely cakes :)

Excellent b and b lodge. Stayed 3 nights in this cosy place mid October 2020. Private entrance and private parking. Would I stay here again? Certainly would! Great breakfast served in the tea room. Many thanks to the owners.

Proper okd fashioned tearoom

With china plates, cakes and jam! Had a really nice slice of whortleberry cake and tea. On tbe main street. Would visit again if were passing through Porlock.

Lovely lunch

Everything about this cafe is first rate - wonderful staff, lovely food and amazing cakes! Really pleased we found it while in the area and thank you for being so nice!

Whortleberry tearoom

We had a sausage sandwich, cake, tea cake with strawberry jam. And it was lovely. So thanks to Helen and shaun (the owners).

Lovely warm welcome

Chanced upon these tea rooms and pleased we did. Loved the fruitcake which is so often not sold in tea rooms anymore. All very traditional and sweet. Love the loud tick of the longcase clock. Takes me back in time. Good coffee and teas. Very...relaxing.More

Delightful Tearoom

My wife and I had lunch here today, while on holiday in the area. Such a lovely welcoming tea room. Tea with real china. Tasty toast, sarnies and wonderful cakes! A really heart warming experience, so badly needed in these difficult times.

Traditional tea room... excellent

Traditional tea room... excellent service and food spot. Nice to see a tea room as it should be. Dog friendly and COVID measures done very well. We’ll be back next time we’re in Porlock. Highly recommended.

Cream Tea

Wonderful service and a charming tearoom, accidentally ordered the double scone cream tea and thought I'd have to take the other home but they were so delicious and light I didn't leave a crumb! A great range of jams and chutneys to take home too....Faultless cream tea experience!More

Lovely chutney

Lovely home made food and can recommend the chutney which you can purchase in the tea room. Nice town and interesting walks .
