We thoroughly enjoyed our chicken, leek and cider pies. Could definitley tell it was homemade! The pub is very quaint and has a lot of character

I recently visited this pub with a friend whilst staying in Exmoor. It was full of locals who were very friendly and welcoming and we all sang happy birthday to one of the regulars. Girl behind the bar was very friendly despite her mask and...it was a quick turnaround for the food that was priced extremely reasonably. Even discovered a new red wine we liked and have since stocked up on it since returning home.More

Lovely home cooked pub food. Very friendly staff. Would recommend. Bratwurst sausages with mustard mash was excellent. Chicken and leak pie has a lovely Somerset cider sauce. Chilli enchiladas.

We visited Porock this weekend and the weather was not the best, but it was made up for by coming to this pub. Friendly staff, friendly local people and good food. We aimed to visit a different place each evening, but this place delivered on...what a pub is, great atmosphere and felt welcome. My wife has a gluten intolerance and the team were really helpful, and nothing was too much trouble, and the food was tasty and great value. Georgie one of the bar team was really helpful, friendly and professional, and deserves a mention for great customer service. If we visit Porlock again we will be back in this pub.More
