We stop here regularly on our way up and down the A1. Ashlee and the rest of the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Had toasties on brown last Thursday, one mushroom and one Charlie's. They were delicious, served with masses of fresh salad and coleslaw, made an excellent lunch.

fast food and it shows. Poor quality cooked breakfast with a smile. Little chef used to be busy and offer quality, not anymore. I won't be returning as many other options on the road.

Just what you expect from a little chef a slightly over priced breakfast for us but staff were great and brought over a colouring book and pencils for kids to colour in. Can't complain

Exactly what was needed when enroute to Loch Lomond. Warm welcome from the staff who were very up for a bit of banter! Olympic breakfast hit the right spot. One minor quibble - restaurant was a bit chilly.

Helpful staff, good food, generous portions and a welcome break from the A1. Particularly recommend the porridge with berries.

Im on Atkins!... I needed a meaty meal... the standard breakfast offering included Potatoes, bread and beans... which have to be avoided. In a day and age where "computer says No" my waitress was quick to offer replacement items. I got a delicious and hefty 2 sausages, 2 bacons, 3 eggs, pile of mushrooms, tomato and a lovely pot of... We stopped at the Little Chef to break up our journey. Although it was extremely busy and the staff were rushed off their feet, they were pleasant and welcoming. We had our usual pot of tea and toasted tea cake, and didn't have to wait an age. As usual the place was clean and service satisfactory. We shall come back

No wonder the restaurant had more staff than customers they were very slow and could barely bother to show any joy. We just had a cup of tea and had to listen to a man shouting hello for about five minutes trying to get attention of a member of staff. On the positive very nice cup of tea in what... More

We visited twice whilst staying at the travel lodge and both times found the food and service very good, and prices were also good value for money, the little chef was very clean and the tables were cleared quickly. Food was served in a very polite manner and quickly, would recommened using for meals if staying at the travel lodge... More
