My wife and I stayed overnight on a short walking holiday. The room was not big but the bed was very comfortable and everything there that we needed for an overnight stay. The prices are quite steep ( as they seem to be for other accommodation on the island) but that is explained we think by the fact that access... More

Visited the pub after going in the sea at Holy Isle. I didn't have a big appetite so I ordered the fish finger children's meal... the peas were cold, the fish was frozen but the chips were hot. On the other hand my partner had a crab sandwich with chips which he thoroughly enjoyed. Maybe I just chose the wrong... More

Called in for a sandwich lunch and a pint on a visit to Holy Island. Great food, the beer was excellent and the staff welcoming.

We enjoyed our meals, good choice menu and specials, booking nearly always essential, possibly the best pub on the Island.

All the positive reviews do not lie - this is a fantastic traditional pub literally offering a warm welcome and a range of great ales: try the local Holy Island brew. They have a separate area for dining. Make sure you book as the kitchen closes at 8pm and it is justly a popular place to have dinner, offering a... More

After a long walk around the Island we were ready for our meal. Absolutely scrumptious and definitely would return.

we stayed there for 3 nights and because of the tides, had to eat where we stayed and it was a blessing we did.The food was tasty and varied, with Mussels and other seafood being well catered for on the menu. they stop serving at 8pm, so worth booking and getting there early. Some of the nicest pub meals we... More

We stayed recently for a weekend for my 50th birthday. The welcome was warm and genuine. The accommodation was clean and cozy. The food was excellent, honest, well-cooked, generously portioned and fairly priced. The best place to eat on the island by far in our view. The chef(s) could not have been more attentive and as residents suggested we ask... More

I chose 'salmon, pea dahl, asparagus with a butter sauce'; my daughter chose 'steak and ale pie'. We hardly exchanged a word, as we both enjoyed our meals so much! A warm, friendly welcome; highly recommended.
