Late November and we are finding a lot of places are not open for food. Cottage Inn is always open and the staff are welcoming. Park at the rear, plenty of space but down an unlit, heavily pot-holed drive. The food is ok but nothing special but nothing bad, hence an average rating.

We were staying in our caravan close by and this was the nearest place to eat within walking distance for our children. We booked a table for 6pm and we were pleasantly surprised when we entered the light and airy dining area. Our orders were taken promptly and our food arrived quickly although we were the first in the dining... More

Staying in the cottage next door so booked a table and had a lovely sharing seafood platter for starters followed by a tasty poachers pot. Great food and service at a very reasonable price

Camping nearby, we walked along to the Cottage Inn around 8pm for a meal, on the Friday night and we got a table in the bar area easily. Overall the meals were nice and reasonably priced and the staff helpful and pleasant, the only let down was the use of instant mash. On the Saturday we decided to go again... More

Visited on our first evening staying in Craster. There is a lovely garden area where we had a drink in the afternoon. Nice area as we have a dog. There seemed to be a lot of locals around the bar. The bar and restraunt quite tired and in need of refurbishment. The food was ok nothing special and quite expensive... More

Friendly, wide choice of food, good portions and well priced. Service could have been a little quicker but also nice not to be rushed. Especially nice to eat in the conservatory. Dogs welcome
