An amazing venue, a genuine tree house with branches growing through the building and out through the roof. The food is pretty good and very sensibly priced, though the wine list is more expensive than anywhere else in Alnwick. The service of the meal itself...More

We popped in here as we were staying in Alnwick just around the corner, to have a look around. We thought it was so lovely that we would stop in the bar and have a few drinks only to be told that without a dinner...More

We called in here for a meal but it was so busy we could not get a table. We had coffee and cakes on the outside platform instead. The coffees and cakes were quite expensive for what they were. The amazing thing about this place...More

Four of us went for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. Sometimes the food does not live up to the expectations of the place but not here. The menu may be limited but the choices are exceptional, so different to your usual Sunday lunch menu....More

We had wanted to eat at The Treehouse restaurant on a previous visit to Alnwick Garden - but we hadn't booked and so were disappointed. No disappointments this time! The food was really delicious, imaginatively cooked and beautifully presented. The staff couldn't have been more...More

There is a bar section in a small tree house opposite the restaurant. There is also an outdoor seating area near the entrance to the the restaurant where you can sit and have drinks when it's sunny.

The Treehouse is one of the most magical and unique restaurants to be found anywhere in the world. It’s high up in the treetops, with a roaring log fire in the centre of the room and trees growing through the floor. Most importantly, the locally-inspired food is delicious. Always featuring local fish and seafood, meats from Northumberland’s farmlands and other regional specialities, the Treehouse Restaurant menus highlight local quality, taste and change throughout the seasons. There’s a great wine list, a good range of beers and regular live music. For a family dining experience that you’ll all enjoy, a great night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two, there’s nowhere quite like it. We always recommend booking ahead for lunch or dinner.
