Came down to Robin Hood's Bay for a day trip from Whitby. After several days of fish and chips, decided to see what Mariondale has to offer considering it is highly rated. Have to say, hands down, it is the best fish and chips in...More

Kids' portions as big as adult portions, adult portions served on a platter, chips done to a turn, delicious mushy peas, two teabags in a pot (as it should always be!), friendly staff.... Top drawer!

Went for some fish and chips and the fish was amazing with really lite and crispy batter. The staff there were really friendly and there was a massive selection of fish and seafood.

Tucked up a little street in the bay, it's always popular and usually has a queue. It's always been a favourite and cannot fault the cooking. However, I was very disappointed to see they are now offering frogs' legs - one pair or two. Not...More
