Came here for my wife's 50th birthday. Not been before. The service was absolutely first class from both the lady and gent on duty. Very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent as well. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant area. Very nice garlic mushrooms and...pie. Thank you.. We will be back!More

Great little place, fantastic service, happy to receive some gluten free produce. Drinks a tad pricey compared to the other bars nearby. Would call again though.

We called here for a couple of drinks and a little snack. The staff work their socks off but still take time to engage with customers. It's very busy with walkers and dog friendly. The log fire gave the place a beautiful ambience. We would...have loved to have returned for evening meal but sadly it was fully booked. We would definitely try again on future visits to Hawes.More

We were at The White Hart Inn to celebrate my husband's birthday and I chose this restaurant from Tripadvisor ratings! I was not disappointed. Our food was plentiful and delicious, all you could want. The service was great too, friendly and just enough attention without...being over the top. As I'm gluten-free, I was amazed at just how many dishes were available to me, even sticky toffee pudding! It was all absolutely wonderful and I will definitely be returning here in the future.More

Staying nearby we booked online for a Wednesday evening dinner. Easy to do and we had a reminder the day before. As a special celebration we went all out with a bottle of Malbec, starters, mains and a dessert. Starters were garlic mushrooms and fish...cakes which we enjoyed. Mains of lamb rump with dauphinoise potatoes were delicious and I had short rib of beef which was melt in the mouth and falling off the bone with creamy mash and vegetables. We were full but couldn't resist sharing Taste of Yorkshire rhubarb which were mini desserts of creme brulee, crumble, ice cream and small jug of custard - lovely finish to an enjoyable meal. Prices are a bit more expensive as it came to £90 for 2 but the cooking and attention to detail is excellent. There are less expensive options as the wine was £24 but I would recommend if you want to splash out a bit.More

Booked in advance for dinner whilst staying in hawes. The pub is lovely lots of character and lovely decor. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The food was lovely says a lot when the bookings are full for a week people were coming in...and being turned away. The lamb Henry melted in your mouth the gravy delicious. Desserts were really lovely sticky toffee pudding and dreamy rhubarb crumble with home made ice cream. Really good choice of wines we had a lovely evening and will definitely return remembering to book before we do!More

was not very impressed with the quality and cooking of the food for the price we paid. The fish was overcooked and the chips were undercooked, expensive for what we received. However the waitress was very nice. Drinks really overpriced !!!

Great from start to finish. Short rib beef, with the gravy mopped up with the bread I asked for was gorgeous and there were no complaints from my wife for her Lamb Henry. Lovely place, book they get busy.
