A nice cozy pub in the village of Harome. The drinks were on the pricey side but they have a captive audience so it wasn't surprising.

We had a lovely meal at the Pheasant. There was 6 of us and the bill came to over £300 and my partner was still hungry afterwards. It's definitely quality not quantity. It does have a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

Spent the night with friends to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. Very pleasant evening, had rooms Harland and Hodge both lovely. Nice pre dinner drink in the cosy lounge, followed by a lovely meal. All staff great but special thanks to Liam who looked after us well and made excellent cocktails. Our third stay, won't be our last.

We only called in for a coffee but the lounge and dining area was very welcoming! We sat out on a beautiful outside terrace overlooking a duck pond. Coffee was very good-served with some delicious cookies. We will definitely return to try the menu!

I live in this area and have been to the Pheasant several times over the last few years. It is unfailingly excellent in food, service and atmosphere. They do everything discreetly and unostentatiously, and everything is just right. My only worry is that they might be tempted to go the same way as the other restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood... More

We went at quite short notice for dinner and so got the last table which was in the bar - however this did not matter at all as it was a nice room with people having leisurely drinks before dinner and the service was unrushed and really excellent, so it was as if we had eaten in the main restaurant...
