We ordered a take away from here for the first time on Sunday. We ordered a cod bhuna which came as chicken bhuna which is nearly £3 cheaper & of which the chicken was so dry it was nearly inedible! Unfortunately we didn't have time to go back and ask for the meal to be corrected as we were going... More

Party of 17 was split over 2 tables, despite me emailing and requesting that we were all on one table. Bill was incorrect & didn't reflect cash already paid. Served out of date Budweiser. Although plenty of food, served luke warm.. King prawns tasted rubbery and tandoori dishes were very bland. Average priced, illustrating you really do get what you... More

Fancy a genuine indian meal? Look no further! Whether eating in ( I'd recommend booking a table under the "tent", real cosy and romantic!) or getting a take-away, the food cannot be bettered. I believe people actually travel from Birmingham to eat here it's so good and authentic.

Miserable rude staff. Food shocking. Bit grubby. Never again. The waiter couldn't even direct us to the right dishes in front of us... mixed up curries. Headache sickness and rash since

My friend and i decided, last night, to try The Rickshaw again after saying we would never go back...and how we wished we had stuck to our word! I had chicken balti...the chicken was hard, dry and tasteless. My friend had a King Prawn Bhuna...the prawns were also hard, dry and tasteless as well as being unrecognisable as prawns. The... More

I have been going to this Indian on and off over the past 9 years I guess, both dine in and takeaway. It was the most attractive and authentic interior of any of the Ashby Indian's- ornate carvings here and there, booth style areas for modest privacy and a secluded tiny bar for a drink, especially whilst you wait out... This wasn't the poshest Indian restaurant I have been too but I couldn't fault the service or food, it was wonderful. With some investment to the decor it could be very impressive (just don't change the chef)

We have only used this place because our usual is not open and I have to say I'm very dissappointed with the service. They originally told me r5mins to an hour for delivery which was fine it's Saturday evening and busy. After an hour I get a phone call saying that the lady at the address didn't have any money...
