Came here for lunch and a couple of drinks with my parents over the Easter weekend. Beautiful Ploughman's, loved it - and great service. Chips were accidentally taken to another table but they took them off the bill which wasn't necessary but a nice gesture!

Good quality home made food and well kept beer. Had a lovely meal and also got to see the Christmas Parade out of the window! Staff really friendly and helpful - Will defiantly return next time we are in Deal.

Just visited here to have a quick cup of tea whilst on a walk. Very disappointed to wait 30 minutes and then we approached the staff again where it was obvious they had forgotten. I understand they were busy but people were getting food and drink when they came in after us. When we came to pay it stated on... More

Waited 45 mins after ordering to be told the chef had gone home, not particularly politely & with only a cursory apology. After declining to wait any longer, was asked in a distinctly rude manner to pay for the drinks we had not drunk!

Eaten here lots in the past but first time this year, we drove up from Ashford because in the past its been great. I have a serious food allergy and have to eat gluten free, so I am quite picky about where I eat. I trusted the Port Arms, but never again. We were assured when we order my beef... More

Superb seafront location with bags of character. Excellent welcoming staff. Delightful room with sea view, we could have been in a 4 star hotel. Excellent breakfast and due to our early departure the chef and a member of staff came in early to attend to our every need. Excellent value for money.

Had a super meal here today with a group of amazing ladies! Our meals varied from omelette and chips to lasagne and garlic bread. Nice wine was drunk and some of us even managed to squeeze in pudding after our mains. The service was good as was the food. Nice ambience and I enjoyed it very much indeed. Would like... More
