I recently went to Deal to view the Deal Castle, then walked about 2 KM to the Walmer Castle. The day was warm and the oceanfront promenade was sunny. The King's Head was a perfect stop for a pint and bathroom break! They had a good selection of ales, beers and ciders, and the people were quite friendly. All in... More

Pub food with friendly staff. Views of the English Channel. Not a big seating area but there is seating outside. Ideal for taking photos in summer as the hanging baskets are incredibly beautiful. Deal was the smugglers haven a few hundred years ago and the atmosphere is still there.

Just had a brilliant tasty roast beef Sunday lunch with all the trimmings and a cracking pint of real ale. Good value and served by friendly happy staff. Well done the team

Decent food, good service and location. Saturday lunch in this busy establishment was pub grub that was reasonably priced.

It's a nice local boozer which claims to be Nigel Farage's local....Maybe give it a miss if you have strong political views. Great service, food was ok for a pub. Skip the chili con carne, it was some dry mince with rice....

By far the best burger in town, even better than 'specialty' burger places. Always pop in for one if we can and no matter how many are in a group they all come out as ordered and very tasty. Great Beer, Food and Atmosphere. A Must Visit.

Small, cosy, friendly staff, packed out for the rugby with big screens all over the place and views of the sea. if you want a quiet pint you need to choose your moment but if you want to watch sport with a well kept pint , this is ideal

I like Deal on a Sunday afternoon. So does my lady. Popped up the pier to see the fishermen fish. Old Begby here gave 'em a few tip bits 😉 having been a fishmongererman myself for a few summers in my youth - I know my way round a pollock. Then after a saus and scampi sup ... (From the... More
