Most of the staff are friendly but on this visit we didn't see them for long periods, otherwise we'd have ordered more drinks. Some of the food is extremely good, most of it is just slightly above average - I've never had a bad meal...More

The food is up to its usual good standard. We love the new makeover but the tables are too close together. No room for waiters to serve without knocking into eaters. Our table for 2 was in the middle and I had waiters continually rushing...More

Most eating places in Cowes seemed totally dead at lunchtime on a cold March day. Walking the High Street from end to end, only 'The Coast' was busy. Seeing that it was no.2 on TA, we decided to give it a try. The Coast has...More
