Spent a weeks holiday nearby and this was our local - how lucky we were. Owners and locals alike were really friendly folks. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and beer and the quiz night was fun. Thanks to you all.

popped in for lunch and had a really tasty meal, served very quickly and efficiently. The pub has a good atmosphere and super staff.Thoroughly recommended. Must be good as they seem to be having their car park enlarged !

Visited once late Summer 2016. Classic country pub setting. Tasty roast dinner. Decent portions, well presented. Reasonably priced. Friendly but not over-attentive service. Overall, a very good experience. Would definitely return.

A group of 13 of us had pre-booked and pre-ordered food for our meal today. One lady was having a soup starter. The meal was booked for 1.00pm and her starter arrived at 1.30pm. Consequently the mains didn't start coming out until 1.45 to 2.00pm...More

Avoid this pub if you're looking for a nice Sunday roast. The beef was chewy, the vegetables were mushy and watery, the potatoes were dry and the gravy was just brown flavourless water. Avoid!

Lots of starter choice. We were a party of three, only ordered one cod goujons very ordinary. Tartar sauce not good very vinegary. We would all have liked roast beef, but it was only offered as very well done. So we ordered the pork. The...More

We arrived here, very tired, hungry and stressed at 8.40 pm just before they finished serving food. The welcome was lovely, all the staff treated us like friends and we ordered a sharing platter with extras and sat in the garden. Food arrived promptly, again...More

Hi, sorry for the delay in answering we don't really bother with trip advisor..... Yes dogs are more than welcome, all we ask is that they are well behaved and kept on a lead at all times.

Description
The Stockton Cross Inn is a 16th century black and white pub in Kimbolton. Here at The Stockton Cross we are passionate about great tasting seasonal 'pub grub' and we aim to source our produce as locally as we can. We are open 11am-11pm every day and serve food from 12 - 8 Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday roasts 12 - 4. We serve local cask ales & local cider and our wines are sourced from Tanners. We also use these Herefordshire made ales and ciders in many of our dishes. We have a large beer garden at the face of the pub and an ample carpark at the rear.
