We enjoyed a three course meal last Saturday lunchtime. They offer an unpretentious menu of traditional pub classics at reasonable prices. There is a clear focus on high quality ingredients from local suppliers and this shines through on the plate. The chef is doing justice to the raw materials too, and every course was delicious. The pub itself is cosy... More

Excellent food! Tireless Service! Friendliest of Establishments! Most Relaxed of Atmospheres! Dog Friendliest! (In the bar)! Most Imaginative of Menus! Faultless! (on three visits in one week). We have never before experienced queuing before the place opens before (except for our garden-the magicgarden.webs.com) WE WILL BE BACK!

We stayed nearby for one week and had read about the Tram Inn before arriving, so booked for our first night's meal (a must if you want to get a table). We rarely order steak when dining out as it is often disappointing and we can do better at home. However as we were in Herefordshire we decided to have... More

Around 6 months ago we visited The Tram Inn and had an exceptional meal with our guests in the dining room. On that visit I chose a 'special' and my meat, vegetable parcel and the accompanying sauce was 5* and well priced, our guests agreed. The potato dauphinoise, the sides, everything was just perfect. On a second visit we dropped... More

Ate Saturday lunch here. We did book in advance as we were a large party and the pub was busy but from the outset, the service was excellent. Drinks and menus came quickly, food wasn't delayed and they were happy for the group to mix main course s and starters. I had the ham, eggs and chips, others were more... More

The Tram didn't disappoint on our second visit (12months apart) cosy room and excellent food and great cider. We were a large group and everyone left very happy. The Lemon Roulade is to die for!

Having read the good reviews we thought we would make a detour enroute to Eardisland to sample for ourselves. We were not disappointed. We only just managed to get a table, it was extremely busy for 2.00 pm mid week. My sea trout was delicious, presented cordon bleu, the sauce and rosti excellent. My husband's steak first class. We will... More

Had a two course lunch in this country pub with friends, which we pre-booked. Food quality was first class, prices good from about £9 mains and £4.50 starters (website also indicates baguettes are available) plus daily specials. Service was also excellent and a nice, warm country pub atmosphere. We will definitely return.

Old Fashioned country pub with hugely friendly staff and fabulous food. If you want a dish changing or something special to eat they will go out of their way to oblige. Recommended
