A real disappointment. Overcooked Beef, flat and burnt yorkshire puddings and soft unrecognisable vegetables. .

Firstly, I would like to point out that my review is based upon the food and not the service we received which on the whole was very good. We were visiting the New Forest for a weekend away for a friend's birthday & not wanting to travel too far from where we were staying, the birthday girl chose the closest... More

Came down for the steak and wine night, was a thoroughly good meal and the steak was done just as I asked along with a nice bottle of red, will certainly come for another visit next time we are in the area visiting friends. Staff were friendly and attentive

Visited Elm Tree Inn yesterday with family and won't be visiting anytime soon. I have visited the pub on several occasions to eat food but yesterday's visit was sub standard to say the least. The food has considerably gone down hill in my opinion.

Arrived on time for booked table, greeted with a smile and showed to our table. After a few minutes to settle and choose from the menu to waitress came to take our order for drinks and food. Being a Sunday we both went for the obvious choice of a Sunday roast and, unlike previous Sundays at other pubs, we were... More

With 4 adults, 3 toddlers and a baby, the staff were very accommodating and were more than happy to bring the children's pizzas out when they were ready rather than having to wait for all of our food. I ordered the chilli burger and it was one of the best I have ever had. No mass produced frozen food. It... More

Patient and lovely staff(big up to Jamie and his rosie loveliness) and the rack of ribs was a huge portion of meaty goodness

A pub with both walls and a ceiling, i was impressed that entry was attained so easily. The coleslaw was bright and piquant and the radiators were at least on a 4, which I have to admit exceeded my expectations. Jamie was a bit flirty and I really enjoyed his tight trousers, I would highly recommend asking for the 'special'... More
