Came here on a Sunday for the Carvery after booking online. The sittings are set at times which means no big rush. 4 different meats to choose from priced at £9 which is very good for the location. Great selection of vegetables and sauces. Only criticism was the beef was very rare. Not for my liking, but a personal choice.

Really good restaurant quality food served in a pub that needs a little bit of tlc. Good service and selections of beers on offer. But cannot fault the amazing food.

Passing by and made very welcome. Friendly and pleasant surroundings. Great location. Fantastic carvery choice and quality of vegetables one of the best at any carvery. Highly recommended.

Stopped here the last 2 times we was in the area just for drinks. Had the cream tea which was to die for. Lovely looking pub.

Apparently this is the oldest pub in the area, but definitely lacking atmosphere. Inwanted to know the history etc... they looked at me like I was mad. I feel they could make much more of this.

This was an unplanned visit on the back of a recommendation from a friend, great food and friendly staff but you need to book. Reasonably priced and a good variety but unlike most carvery's everything is fresh and replenished without running out. I would recommend The Mailman Arms and would definitely return.

Carvery meat and veg was really nice , beef a little tough but all in all very satisfactory lunch . And would say we'd be back but the staff and owners are so miserable looking , and... More

We had a lovely day out in beaulieu motor museum and fancied a carvery we used the TripAdvisor app to find a good one nearby. We have to admit it was gorgeous food and a lovely local pub. You need to park in the village car park and will need to pay to park. The mailmans was really friendly and... More
