Positioned just off the beaten track, this is a locals' pub that gets found by tourists and holidaymakers. Good food, nice ambiance, reasonable prices, but a walk-to place as there's no parking.

The Royal Oak is a seminal pub in Hampshire, its location means it appears on many sites and images appear everywhere. It should be the worlds best local and visitor attraction in Hampshire... BUT! Food can take an hour to be served at busy times...More
