Went there with my family and a family of friends. Beautiful building but the interior is patched up with honestly ugly posters and photographs from you local charity shop with what appears to be fake garden decoration antique statues- so 1982! To start with there are no high chairs for babies so our friends struggled with their 2 year old... More

Went to restaurant for nice meal and relaxing evening, however there was a large party of men celebrating a birthday, they where very noisy with swearing which spoilt the evening, i don't think that large parties should be allowed in such a lovely restaurant. The meal was fantastic as ever but spoilt by the noisy behaviour.

Our second visit and we all had a wonderful evening at very good value. Best in Hampshire and we eat out regularly.

Best Restaurant in Fareham, we visit regularly and are always treated exceptionally well by Rico and his team. Beautiful Italian food cooked well and plenty of different dishes as a break from the Italian norm. Their fillet steaks are particularly great.

Dined here a few times, service always attentive, portions so generous I have little room for dessert. No need to order extra sides. Authentic Italian flavours never cease to delight.

This was our first visit to Villa Romana. We chose it after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. This was a busy Friday night yet the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. It was obvious that most of the diners were regulars which is always a good sign. We couldn't fault the food and there... More

Went to Villa Romano in a party of five for dinner. What a great atmosphere on a Friday night. Place was packed so booking is advised. I had the savoury rice stuffed balls as a starter which was excellent. The current Mrs B had prawns in spicy sauce. Four massive prawns. My main was the slow roasted lamb. Looked like... More

Four of us visited last night for a birthday celebration and catch-up. As usual, our meals were excellent, as was the friendliness, courtesy and attentiveness of the owners and staff. Highly recommend.

The staff were on the ball here and the service was good when asking for a birthday venue but they didn't have a menu to take away,

Out for a meal with my partner. This is a lovely little restaurant. The food is generally good and the atmosphere is ideal for a romantic evening out or a group party. Just be warned that there is no pizza on the menu.
