This pub does great Sunday roasts, a large part of the menu looks homemade in style. The pub is dog friendly and allows dogs inside. Free wifi is available. No sign of disabled toilet but public one is next door Beer garden.

Very good food. I loved the Sussex Smokie and have had it many times since. The roasts are also very good too and all reasonably priced.

We stopped in here for lunch after visiting Battle Abbey Battlefield and before visiting Pevensey Castle. The food is lovely and not overly priced, its very cosy too. I imagine it would get very busy in peak season.

Refreshing change to be welcomed and receive great service in a local pub environment. Relaxed feel and atmosphere enhanced by great tasty food. Jackie was born to be in customer service. Well done kitchen and front of house, keep up the great work.

Hi, doyou have anything vegan on your menu?

Answer
Response from Debby F | Property representative |
Yes, we have 3 starters that are vegan, plus 1 main dish which is a Vegetable Tagine (homemade). I also have a falafel and spinach burger that can be served in a free from toasted bun instead of our usual brioche bun.
