Took my in laws here last month as had read the numerous recommendations on here & it's not that far away. The menu has the usual pub fare, but then there was also ostrich burger & kangaroo which showed maybe this could be an interesting...More

Thank you for your review. Over the years we've played around with different suppliers for our bread products, but have not been able to find any as good as the Jack and Jill Bakery in Ringmer, which is where we source our "Norfolk Crunch" granary,...More

Thank you very much for your review - our pies are always popular, and its interesting how many potential customers enquire about the "construction" of them before ordering. It's quite clear that the "dish of meat with a puff pastry lid" is not good enough...More

We're sorry you didn't enjoy your lunch, and if you told us about this at the time I didn't get to hear about it. Certainly we would expect somebody who is "appalled" as their food is delivered to say something straightaway. Let's correct your incorrect...More

Met several friends here at this basic country pub - no frills or fancies here just great ales, marvellous food and a welcoming landlord who's been 'proudly in charge' for over 16 years. Good sized carpark but tricky to find as it's on the back...More
