We had a lovely meal at this stunningly beautiful place, food & service were fantastic, highly recommend, very expensive, but great for a special occasion. Lovely setting, full of oldie worldie charm.

We enjoyed our evening meal, it was well presented and tasty, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The selection was limited and my husband struggled with the starter as he has an allergy to mushrooms and isn't keen on fish, the starter menu was mainly fish/seafood. But we had a good mains which we both enjoyed and delicious deserts... More

If you're staying at the Powdermill Hotel this is a nice place to eat. We were a bit limited as we don't eat meat and found some of the food much too sweet.

Visited with friends. The food was very good. We had lunch and enjoyed our food. I ordered sea bass with a fish risotto- it was delicious and cooked exactly how I liked it. My only criticism was the temperature of the restaurant as it felt cold.

Awful. My wife and I are both allergic to seafood. We ordered 2 dishes one with crab and one with mussels which they agreed to remove. Both dishes came with the shellfish which my wife discovered when she ate a mussel. Very worried. And breakfast was diabolical. Avoid

It's not often I'm rendered speechless by anything but The Orangery managed it. The room is lovely; the service slow. We eventually ordered; my wife asked for the only vegetarian main course they offer not to have the goat's cheese on it that every restaurant seems to assume that vegetarians want. They don't, by the way. What eventually emerged was... More

A disappointing evening, we had to wait over 10 minutes at an empty bar to be served an arrival drink. They had been pre warned of 2 dietary requirements but had very limited options available and no indication on the menu as to what was gluten free or vegetarian/ dairy free. Service was slow, we waited an hour before being... More

Menu choice is good. Everything seems to be made on site. The service is attentive but not intrusive. It's good value for money and a lovely experience
