Not to surprised as I hear the rent was very large. Hope the landlady Mrs Chapman is O.K. and good luck to her. Hope the... More

We went to the Hunny Bell for a friend's birthday dinner. All of us driving so no wine on this occasion. I was tempted based on previous Trip Advisor ratings. I have to say the food was a little disappointing. I had a soup to start with which was rather thick, and the mains were fine, perhaps not quite the... More

After a wet 4 mile walk 6 adults and dog arrived to a warm welcome at the Hunny Bell. We had pre-booked a table in the bar as we had the dog. The owner was polite and welcoming. The bar was warm and cosy. I had Aberdeen Angus roast. It was delicious. My husband had beer batter fish and chips... More

Visited the Hunny Bell at Hanworth on a prebooked Christmas lunch and oh what a superb lunch we both had. The food was very very good for a local pub and the service is spectacular and very responsive to the customers requests even know it was a 70 cover lunch. I have noticed over the past years how small establishments... More

We have been to Hunny Bell today for a family of five Christmas dinner, we were greeted with a glass of prosecco followed by nibbles, we had pre ordered and I had the fish platter starter followed by beef and then a cheese board to finish off before coffee and mince pies with fudge and Turkish delight. All our meals... More

My friend and I were staying at an Air BnB in the area and wanted a pub close by for dinner. The pub was warm and cosy and staff were all so friendly and attentive. Not a lot of chice on the menu and very pricey for pub food; however we both had Fish and Chips and the portions were... More

Have been here 3 times and each visit I have tried something vegetarian. They have a good variety of veggie options, however I found the Risotto to be quite bland and sickly, perhaps a personal preference but not a fan of bright yellow food! The burger was delicious and the staff were more than happy to provide a "doggy bag"!... More

Food was piled up very unappetisingly on plate and covered in a very oily gravy. Mashed potato was cold, Yorkshire pudding doughy! Greens chewy. Parsnips and carrots limp. Waiter returned it to the kitchen and head chef agreed it was unacceptable.
