Consistently good food. The broasted chicken and mustard eggs are our favorite. Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here on separate trips to the area.

We were there for lunch. The service was quick and the restaurant clean. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. So many of the restaurants around there are run by the same company and no longer hold the appeal that restaurants in Amish country used to have.

My best friend and I stopped here for dinner one night as part of a girls' getaway. We got a small family-style dinner so that we could sample more different offerings. We received rolls with jam and apple butter while we waited for our food. Yum! The chicken was good, but the roast beef was incredible! Everything was very good,... More

Always a treat to return to this restaurant in the center of Amish country. The area has built up and changed, but the Farmstead remains the same with food and service as good as any metropolitan city. Don't leave without having warm bread from the oven and one of the classic country dishes. I love beef and noodles, but never... More

Home cooking, nothing fancy. I could make the same thing at home, only better. The veggies were frozen and then cooked, not fresh. The sirloin was basically a flat burger.

We have been to the Der Dutchmen restaurants in both Walnut Creek and Surgarcreek many times, so we thought this would be comparable. Boy, were we wrong! The broasted chicken was barely warm and the breading was soggy. The mashed potatoes were also barely warm. After sending it back, the "fresh" chicken was worse than before, and the mashed potatoes... More

David, I was sorry to see that you had such a poor experience here at Berlin Farmstead. You were correct to think we are comparable to Der Dutchman and Dutch Valley. I am not sure where the breakdown was that day but we obviously failed to live up to our reputation for great food and service. I would appreciate it... More

I only get one thing on the menu because it's too good to pass up: broasted chicken with fries and gravy. My favorite thing to get every time I visit the area.
