The cockles is a lovely restuarant on the corner. It has wheel chair access and outside dining. The food is very good and plentiful. The service can be a little slow but the food is well worth waiting for. They have a huge variety, starting with breakfast and then other meals throughout the day

Only complaint was we were seated in the overflow area, on a warm day no problem but it was freezing cold and they were unable to turn on the heaters and they kept the door shut to the cafe, presumably so the other customers didn't get cold!

There was nothing we could fault about Cockles. The food, the ambience, the customer service - everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived, seated and the menus given to us, we knew we were in for an amazing feast (and that it was!). I had the Apple Jacks (pancakes with apple, bacon and maple syrup) and my partner had... More

We went for lunch mid week so it wasn't very busy. Took a seat and waited to be served.nthey ended up first serving a couple who had ertered after us. 👎 But we ordered, our meal came fairly quickly, it tasted ok.

This is located on the busiest section of the town and is always busy for meals, drinks and takeaway. It has plenty of in and out seating

We have been to Cockles for both breakfast and lunch. The best idea is to go when you are starving as the meals are huge. The staff are friendly and there is quite a variety of food on the menu. It is not an inexpensive day out but well worth a try

Holiday Weekend Cockles had very good staff on for the busy Sunday. The breakfast was enjoyed by all. Salmon and Brie omelette went down well with the gentlemen. My apple Jack was delicious I washed this down with a great Sparkling Wine. We definitely will be returning as we only live 4 kms. away and this was our first visit.
