I found this restaurant to lack any sort of atmosphere, cleanliness was all to be desired. Staff friendly but disorganized they walked around the restaurant with my husbands dinner trying to find who ordered it, by the time we got it it was not hot...anymore. I ordered the Pasta Bake, which come about 10 mins after my husbands and it was like a large ball of cheese and spaghetti which was impenetrable the knife and fork wasn’t enough. I had to leave it, we complained to the owner to be told that it was mozzarella cheese! So what, people still need to be able to eat the food that they ordered. Not very good at all.More

Thanks 398antar for your beautiful review .Regards , Luigi
We arrived on time for our booking and were asked to sit on the couch. Waitress seemed stressed. Other people walked in and were seated immediately. Once seated we waited for 20 minutes before getting up and getting menus ourselves. Still waited yet another 10...minutes until we asked for our order to be taken. Two small pieces of bread toasted, no butter, no garlic, no oil, with some parsley sprinkled on top which just falls off costing a staggering $6-00 was presented. We ate slowly as other customers had said they had been waiting over 30 minutes for their meals. We waited a long time also, then were asked did we want to order, which we advised we had already done so. Next, on several occasions, meals were served to us that were not ours. Finally our meals arrived. Lasagna was just a bog of cheese and pasta with very little meat, which I didn’t eat. Throughout the 90 minutes we were there staff were abusing each other and slamming dishes. Staff didn’t seem happy. There were four other tables that we saw that had delays and mix up with meals and had walked out. Won’t be returning to this place!More
On a recent trip to Goolwa we headed into Victor Harbor for dinner. Being a public holiday and a larger group of adults and children we didn't have many options without a prior booking. Our booking was at 8pm which was very late for young...children, but we didn't have a choice, it took over 45 mins for someone to come to our table to take even just a drinks order. Then another 15 mins for a seperate attendant to take the food order as the person who took the drinks order did not know how to do food orders. By the time our meal arrived the children were ravenous with hunger. We ate only purely due to hunger but the meals served were on border line inedible. My oven baked pasta dish was 50% cheese, raw onion, raw pasta and chewy meat. Watched one of the attendants come out from the kitchen area to blow their nose in the dining area and go straight to pick up food plates to serve. Its expensive and not one of our seven dishes was up to quality standards. Do not go here for authentic Italian. I could write so much more, but would like to leave this restaurant with some sort of dignity.More

We booked our 90 minute session arriving at 6.30pm. When we were asked to sit on the couch for 10 muinutes while the manager entertained another table it wasn't a good start. He was clearly stressed but we didn't expect to be still waiting for...food 80 minutes later. The table of 8 who arrived just after us were served entrres then. I flagged down the waitress, asking how much longer and threatening to leave. The manager rushed over with offers of free wine and food close by. Ten minutes later it arrives (without the wine, later requested by my husband). Mine was lukewarm and okay, my husband's was hotter but the calamari didn't seem fresh. When he went to pay the bill he tried to ovetcharge us about $40 for a bottle instead of a glass of wine!! We weren't the only ones - I felt really sorry for a young family patiently juggling 2 preschoolers, clearly struggling to get their order fulfilled. Clearly understaffed and incompetent.More

We rocked up with no booking and they managed to fit us in. The service was fantastic and the food delicious. The bruschetta was incredible and the pizzas were delicious too. The house wine was good value and no hangover the next day! We had...a fair amount 😉. If we are in Victor Harbour again we are 100% coming back. A fantastic evening.More
On holiday in victor harbour and thanks to trip advisor managed to find this Gem!
First night we went chef provided suggestions of what was good and you could see the passion he had for his food. Chef even made modified meals for a friends...daughter who was a little picky. Everything was amazing! Front of house staff member Lupe was very knowledgeable and was great with kids (the fancy umbrellas in the gelato was a nice touch!)
We were so impressed by the food we then returned the next night for dinner. Food was amazing again! Antipasto was delicious and the serving was huge! The tagliatelle de la nonna is a must try and tasted delicious! Serving sizes were ample and quality was maintained over both nights. Front of house staff were great as was the chef who came out several times to make sure everyone was satisfied.
Great night out, family friendly delicious Italian food! We will be backMore
Worst Italian meal we’ve ever had. Being Italian doesn’t automatically make you a great chef of Italian cuisine! The Margherita pizza dough was uneven and overcooked resembling cardboard in texture and even taste, and the cheese on top was totally undercooked and rubbery. The caprese...salad was the greatest disaster with mozzarella that tasted like it had expired weeks ago and tasteless tomatoes left in the fridge too long, both swimming in brine with two pathetic basil leaves. The ravioli with butter and sage was average at best. Below average would be more accurate. To charge the prices this bloke does, he really needs to step up his game and make the food actually worth the cost. Do not eat here unless of course you like to pay top dollar for food not even worthy of being “middle of the road” Italian. Absolute joke!More
