The food here is good for takeaway for locals but if driving through and looking for a sitdown meal you may be disappointed. I walked in and waited and waited. The small number of tables were occupied and by the time hubby arrived ... he...had walked quite a long way down the street and back to use the dreadful public loos... there were still no tables free so we left. Had a good meal at the servo on the left at the end of town.. plenty of tables and free tea or coffee.More
Shout out to Tailem Bend bakery. Stopped for quick sandwich on the way to Adelaide and discovered delicious mince pies! A box in the car now to be shared with the family on Christmas Day.
Lovely service and so reassuring to see exemplary covid safe...practices. Thank youMore
Long wait times as the employees talk about the weekend with each other. NO prices displayed. Very expensive but I guess you have to charge extra so your employees can stand around chatting to each other and ignore customers.
Only came in for a coffee and a salad roll, but the service was lovely the roll was freshly made and tasted great. Only down side was i went back for brekky the next day but their opening hours are not early enough.
We were driving from Adelaide to Melbourne and were recommended to stop here for something to eat. Brilliant - cakes, pies and if you wanted salad along with excellent coffee. Obviously very popular with the locals but worth the short detour from the highway for...a bite to eat - staff were very friendly.More
Stopped for lunch on our way through town. Good selection available, pies and sausages looked good, however we went with some salad sandwiches instead. All very fresh and great sandwiches. Seems a popular bakery, as they were continually busy whilst we were having lunch.
