All reviews lunch cakes cheesecake pineapple great coffee good food and friendly service nice atmosphere highly recommend to anyone big breakfast coffee and cake smoked salmon great place to eat meals bite rocket feta
A pleasant cafe to have a bite of lunch and watch the world go by. I had the Double Cheese & Chive Soufflé which was quite good although would have preferred more parmesan cheese for flavour. The accompanying rocket, pear & walnut salad was excellent....The espresso cheesecake was excellent!
Staff were friendly and efficient with meals served in good time.
Get here early to secure your preferred table as it's a popular place, even midweek.More
The cafe was a lovely cool oasis on a very hot day and we were shown to a table and given a jug of icy water as soon as we arrived. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel and a freshly squeezed pineapple and passionfruit frappe....The first thing I noticed was how well spaced the tables were and the hand sanitiser was non sticky and smelt heavenly. It smelt so good I found the website it was from and I'll be ordering some. The bagel was fresh and delicious with a generous amount of smoked salmon, lemon dressing and baby spinach and the fruit frappe was to die for-so refreshing. Service was excellent as well.More
We were able to sit at an outside table which is a great place to eat on a nice day as the street is lovely. My wife had the fish tacos and I had the chicken burrito bowl and we were both very happy with...our meals. The total cost of the food was $36 which is good value for lunch. It was very popular which is also a good indication that you are at a good cafe.More
We have been trying to support the SA businesses around our home as much as possible lately. This was by far our best. We felt really welcomed, friendly and attentive staff. Great lunch options and I was so impressed by the quality and quantity of...the food. Great value for money. Quiet settings inside or outside. Highly recommended and we will be backMore
We come here regularly but usually on a Saturday, this is the second time on a Sunday and it was really disappointing. The first time we waited for an hour and a half and ended up getting our money back. This time the wait was...also long but at least the food arrived but the food was terrible. I had a Southern Fried Chicken sandwich which was tasteless, the chips were Ok but some were soggy. My wife had a roast vegetable salad that was freezing, like it had just come out the freezer. Even the wine was awful! So if you are planning on coming here I suggest you don’t come on a Sunday.More

First time to this little gem, the staff were friendly and performed a high level of sanitary cleaning of tables etc between customers. The food was fresh delicious and plentiful , will highly recommend to anyone doing a day trip to Strathalbyn.
