We had just completed a tasty gourmet meal and were hurried off the table to make way for the next sitting. Because of the huge crowds on the beach, our cars were parked high up on a hill some distance away. The husbands decided to leave the 4 wives in the restaurant whilst they collected their cars as the temperature... More

We went to the flying fish cafe as a group and were a bit late getting there. The food was ok but we could not order desserts or coffee. We feel this could have been explained to us beforehand instead of rudely being turfed out. The chef likes to get away early. Just make sure you get there early for... More

Just about perfect takeaway seafood. Salt and pepper squid was served just the way it should be and for a nice change it's served without chips but with a lovely Asian salad. The fish was also very good - well prepared batter and wasn't too dry as it's usually the case with the "mass-produced" takeaway in those places. Highly recommended.

Had takeaway lunch here, sitting just in front of the restaurant on benches overlooking the beautiful bay. Service was reasonably quick. Seafood basket with chips and separate single piece of fish were all cooked perfectly as were the chips.

After meeting friends at horseshoe bay this afternoon we decided to grab a coffee and ice blocks for the kids. The coffees would have to be one of the worst coffees we have ever had the displeasure to pay for. All 4 coffees were thrown into the bin. And as for the ice blocks. Where else do you pay $3... Sitting on the decking overlooking Horseshoe Bay, a beautiful beach. Flying Fish has both a restaurant and a casual dining area. Delicious seafood choices, salads, cold drinks and coffee.

You can choose the takeaway side or to eat in the restaurant. We chose the restaurant.Lovely views over the bay with huge windows framing the view.We shared oysters Kilpatrick before serves of S.A. whiting for him and clam chowder for me.The chowder was served with the clams still in the shell.Very delicious all round

Went there to have a cup of mocha and fish & chips. Mocha was good and food was very tasty and there was plenty of it for a foodloving girl like me. Views are amazing, after eating you can just walk to the beach and have a swim or nice nap.

Usual breakfast fare all done excellently. Large servings at reasonable prices washed down by good coffee. Kids loved shakes. Complemented by lovely sea views. Highly recommend. Will try the Fish and chips lunch next.

Lovely place with very nice food. The service was great. The wine was a bit pricey but was lovely all the same. Beautiful views as its right on the beach.
