Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had checked all the other cafes in Petersborough and they just didn’t ‘do it’. Then we went into the Tinsmiths Cottage. Fantastic food. Including scones and tea made with leaves, not a tea-bag. Highly recommen.

Quirky little cottage with memorabilia to view whilst eating homemade snacks & drinks. The owner was warm, friendly & helpful, advising us of all the local places to visit whilst visiting the Flinders Ranges. Clean, welcoming place to visit on route to the Flinders Ranges.

Evie was a delightful, friendly lady. Her toasted sandwiches are to die for and the scones were the best we've tasted besides our own mothers' !! The jam and cream kept sliding off the scones as they were so fresh and warm. My husband said...the coffee was very good.More

Evie and her daughter opened their cottage to us on a day they are normally closed. They cooked and served a really nice lunch all while telling us stories about the town, themselves etc. Evie sells antique items and some of our group went to...town with thier purchases! This is one of those places that you want to find in regional towns and these ladies did not disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment.More
