So let me start by saying I travel a lot for work, and I have this weird thing that I test sausage rolls, especially if someone tells me they do a great roll. They do an amazing roll in Beautiful Valley at the café there but, without doubt, if you want the best sausage roll in the state this is the place. Hand-made, thoughtful ingredients and served in style in a little café with great staff and décor. Given I come through here regularly I will make a point of dropping in. Its well worth the detour or destination. Did I mention the people were awesome?

I’m not their mum, but I’m proud of what this couple have taken on in the old council building in Peterborough. An eclectic mix of furnishings and at the moment a limited array of food to choose from, but definitely enough to satisfy our needs and also of a local paramedic who called in whilst we were there, plus some other locals. The ambience of the place is lovely. They are busily organising themselves for the Summer season, don’t hesitate to drop in, you won’t be disappointed

I saw this cafe and parked out the front of it... it looked quite charming... I can assure you now that it's both charming inside and out and that it's not just appearance. Customer service was country hospitality with a professional tilt.
Inside is smallish but it has so much to look at ... and plants, beautiful green plants adorn the window area. There is seating both inside and outside.
I ordered the pumpkin soup and I am so fussy with soup... rarely do I really love it, sometimes it's okay... it's a bit like Goldilocks... " Oh that's too hot, that's too cold ... ohhh that's JUST right"... well just right doesn't happen a lot for me.
And this was JUST right... it was utterly delicious! I also ordered a takeaway coffee and that was also good.
There is a song that says,
Yummy, yummy, yummy, I've got love in my tummy
And I feel like a-lovin you
Love, you're such a sweet thing, good enough to eat thing
And that's just a-what I'm gonna do...
Well that explains my soup experience!

We came in a bit late on a Saturday afternoon and although the hot plates had been turned off they were happ enough to reboot them and made us BLT and one of the better hamburgers that I’ve ever had. Thanks girls, much appreciated.

We found this to be an interesting venue - worth checking out. It has friendly staff, the coffee was good and the gluten free brownie excellent.

Not a lot on offer food wise but coffee is what we after and it was good. I had espresso and my husband had iced coffee both were nice, and we got our caffeine fix for our long drive ahead. One of my pet dislikes is having food advertised on the menu board and it's not available. This is common at a lot of places, but it is annoying. Clean place and friendly staff a good place to get your coffee.
