We stopped at the Duck Duck Goose cafe for a coffee and a small bite to eat. The atmosphere is lovely and the service very friendly. All coffee drinkers in our group of six really enjoyed their coffees and the homemade sausage rolls and mini...quiches were also a big hit. What a great place to eat - the food is delicious - the coffee is the best I have ever had - this Amazing Cafe has been re-vamped & since our last visit it now has this incredible looking wood burning Pizza Oven, also amazing...meat is cooked in the oven - so whether it is a Pork slider or roast dinner it is sure to tempt & please any weary traveller - We will be passing through town in a few weeks time & have already placed our order.More

Wanted breakfast, only thing was egg and bacon roll, not my usual choice but absolutely delicious along with the best coffee we had in rural SA. Wanted lunch for the road, everything was home made, amazing "sausage" rolls, wrap and brownie. Don't miss this in...lovely Peterborough.More

Found the food in this part of SA very ordinary. We stopped in Peterborough on the way to Broken Hill and found Duck Duck goose. What a good decision to have lunch here. The wrap and sandwich we had were fantastic. Coffee was excellent and...the service from the owner was great. He had just reopened after a remodel and the place looked great. Duck Duck Goose is a lovely cafe that gave me a cosy fuzzy feeling as soon as I stepped in. It is tastefully furnished without smothering me with nostalgia. Owner Matthew Shepherd welcomed us with his signature smile and cackle and we’re home. We ordered...pizzas, chicken pies, burger, juice and hot drinks, all delicious. Matthew’s sense of humour is infectious, often taking a swipe at himself, calling himself the fat duck etc. my teen daughter and her teen friends doubled over laughing at his jokes.
