A fantastic find! Myself and several other biologists were out birding and needed a spot for lunch. Someone recommended this cafe and it was excellent. Service was quick and friendly, prices decent and I had one of the best burgers I have had in a while. Highly recommend for breakfast, brunch or lunch in Mount Barker.

Great place and love their pancakes. I don't think we ever have much else from the menu. Like that we can sit outside with the dogs and chill.

Had brunch here today pancakes and smashed avo it was fantastic very busy for a Sunday morning but once in and seated didn’t take too long and the staff were very friendly and helpful highly recommended

Been meaning to go here since we moved to the district a year ago. Bitterly disappointed. One order of pancakes took 40 minutes to arrive and we had to prompt the staff. Even then they were poor with almost no sauce and only a few small strawberries Coffee very ordinary.
We won’t be returning.

Called in for a light lunch, wait staff were friendly, attentive and we were looking forward to our meals but regret ordering the bagels. They were stale, dry and tough to cut with the cutlery provided and even tougher to chew, I managed just half of mine and the other guest at the table just picked off the ingredients. It was disappointing but we took it on the chin, it happens sometimes and we just settled the bill without making a fuss. After I’d paid I politely told the guy the bagels were stale and they might want to check the rest, instead of ‘thanks for letting us know’ or ‘sorry mate’ I was admonished with “well they shouldn’t be” ironically the very point I was trying to make. We’re long time locals and with the choice of so many good cafes in Mt Barker within a stones throw we won’t be back.

Terrible service. One breakfast out of four was just forgotten. When we asked we were just told it would be out in five minutes. 20 mins later and after watching lots of orders after ours being sent out we decided to leave. Went to pay and they tried to charge for the meal we hadn’t received (and it was the same girl so not like she didn’t know). Not even an apology and very rude service. Def not returning!

I got a breakfast here with family, the service was super fast and the staff were very friendly. I got the breakfast burrito and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Will be coming here again thanks heaps

Ordered pizza to pick up. Ordered one large and one gf 9” when my dad went to pick it up they gave him two 9”. There was nothing on box about which one was gf. Had to call. Jeremy was very polite but situation was frustrating esp as it was my birthday and we couldn’t go out as my son was sick. Tasty but frustrating.

Went here on based reviews and here say, must say i was disappointed- there was an okay variety of food choice, but nothing tempting for me, COD-feels was ok but have had better and the cup handles were so small i had to hold on to whole cup, and my fingers are not very big, went in as a family and all our meals were average, my daughter couldn’t even finish hers, the only really lovely thing i can say is the staff are warm and inviting and very friendly, lots of staff on to cater for not a very busy day or what i would have expected busy time period, my reviews normally find something good in the food, but unfortunately i cannot say that this time

We wanted to try the #1 restaurant in Mt. Barker and we were not disappointed! Delicious pizza and breakfast all day! YUM!!! We sat outside, but indoors there is art on the walls and a great vibe. All the waitstaff were friendly and expedient!

She had Fritters with avo mayo and bacon, he had Eggs Benny with salmon and kids had the pancakes. All was delicious, nice and hot and just the right amount of flavour. Cozy ambience and beautiful artwork on the walls. A must see and taste for brekky in Mt Barker.

We decided on beef burger with a serve of fries and 9” supremo pizza. Burger was nicely presented, tasted great....but don’t forget to look for the specialty chutney. This seals the deal. Fries were crisp...kids will love these. Wood oven pizza was well topped and delicious. Staff pleasant and friendly

Fabulous place in the main street of Mt Barker where the coffee is great, the food smells & tastes amazing & the staff are super friendly & efficient. Definitely my favourite local spot.
