It's a great place to eat but wish they didn't close so early. They advertise until late but the reality is that is usually around 8pm.
Good food and good value.

I had the seafood pizza which can be risky ! many completely miss the target but not here the very Best seafood pizza I have ever had, perfect balance, crust base perfect, not too much tomato base, Prawns, Anchovies, crab, mussels & calamari & you could taste every ingredient ! My partners Ceaser salad also was Perfect ! Can Not wait for another seafood pizza right here again !!
Staff could be more engaging & friendly but did not take away from a Great experience. Thank you.

We have been coming to this establishment for many years. Over time we have seen a decline in both Staff and food. Staff don't smile, it's as though they would rather be somewhere else (Maybe they do want be elsewhere but professionally they shouldn't show it). The serves are getting smaller. My Partner had the lasagne last time we were there. It was an entree size, came with no salad or chips. My Partner went away feeling hungry...ate almost another meal when we got home! Defeats the whole purpose of eating out! A smile from your Staff can make all the difference! Tonight's meal was on the small side too.

A colleague & I visited Caffe Acqua on a cold and wet weekday morning recently for a coffee and snack.
The cafe is situated adjacent to the undercroft carpark so one side looks into the dark carpark and the other side out into the street.
We ordered coffee and raisin toast. The coffee was OK and the 2 slices each of thick cut toast looked good. It was advertised as coming with jam or honey, neither of which were offered. After a number of attempts we managed to get some jam and additional butter. Not a big deal, but it's pretty simple too.
The space was not warm, despite the air conditioner running full bore, quite loudly. The a/c noise coupled with lots a hard surfaces and toddlers running around made the place a little uncomfortable for me.

Had lunch here with the Family of 4 today. First time I'd been here. Reasonably busy lunch time trade and the first thing I noticed was how noisy the whole place was. Acoustics were terrible and conversations had to be in raised voices and often repeated. My son and I both ordered the Barramundi which arrived in reasonable time. I don't know what fish I got but mine had a large brownish wide streak running through the fillet and actually in places tasted like "mouldy". It was very strange and as far as I know Barra has pure white flesh. My son's piece of fish was fine but the fillet was a completely different shape to mine. I left most of mine on the plate. Apart from that I found pricing to be about right, and staff were efficient and friendly. However I do not think I will be going back again.

4 adults and 2 children visited following a basketball match. The two steaks were cooked as ordered and looked (and tasted) amazing. My salmon was a tad over cooked but still enjoyable. Loved the yoghurt dressing on the salad. One adult and 2 children ordered salt and pepper calamari with different responses. Kids loved it but the adult found it bland (I had a taste and it was very bland). Service was relatively fast, however they forgot the children’s meals despite a request for them to come first. Was very drafty as the only table for 6 was in line with an outside door. All in all, above average. Would go back again.

My husband and I had breakfast here and what a place. Friendly staff great food we ended up eating here a few times plenty of tables and great service didn't wait long for our meal

I had a special, which was beef korma. This was excellent & very tasty.
My wife had the surf & turf. It wasn't cooked very well & the steak was placed on top of the chips so all the blood ran onto the chips making them soggy & unappetizing.
For some reason they feel the need to keep the dining room like a fridge. It was cold outside & the aircon was cranking out really cold air.
People were sitting there with their coats on. This has seemed to be a trend for a long time now.

The first time we went here was a couple of months ago. We just had carbonara and schnitzel. It was good and we were really happy. It wasn’t fancy but good value and tasty.
The second time we went I had spaghetti bolognaise. It was so tasteless and bland I could barely eat it. I figured I just wouldn’t get that dish again. My partners carbonara was ok but not as good as first time but he wanted to try again in the hopes he’d get the really nice one like the first go.
We went back again this weekend. This time my partner complained the carbonara was bland and tasteless and he struggled to finish it. I went back to the schnitzel. You can’t really go wrong with a schnitzel but it’s pretty plain. Some places do really nice crumb but not here. Just plain.
I’m giving it a 3 star as it’s not terrible. I.e the meat was fine. The chips were fresh. but 1/3 meals being enjoyable is not good enough odds for me to go back.
Plus the server did the thing I hate which is to lean over when one person is still eating and start taking the plates away. She did ask if we were finished but he had a knife and fork in his hand, food unfinished on his plate and a mouthful of food so couldn’t answer.
