We had a brilliant experience at our degustation lunch yesterday. It was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Our waiter was excellent! He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and really made our time enjoyable and relaxing. Nothing was rushed, everything was thoroughly...explained, it was perfect! The food was astounding! I think we devoured a loaf of that delicious bread and truffle butter! Do yourself a favour and get the lobster!!! And the passionfruit souffle - the most incredible dessert I've ever had (my fiance said the same for his chocolate dessert option). Everyone was friendly, professional and brilliant. Thank you for fitting us in. It was a highlight of our holiday and we highly, highly recommend! We even joked about flying to adelaide for a day simply to do it again!More

It was so good to finally return to D'Arry's Verandah Restaurant, to celebrate another anniversary. Firstly, the menu is terrific: the quality of the produce, the flavours and textures are superb. I managed only two courses, but next time, if I have 2 starters, I...could perhaps manage dessert: souffle? or churros?..... Secondly: Staff, as always are absolutely professional: friendly, accomplished and knowledgeable. (And Oliver makes a fabulous Negroni!) Finally, ambience: more perfection: the seating arrangements have been neatly altered to meet Covid rules; the views are still stunning, and this is one of very few restaurants where the noise factor is practically eliminated. This makes a great difference to our enjoyment of a meal. Congratulations, Jo and Peter, your reputation remains superb!More

Surely one of the most delicious meals I've had in a long time and a beautiful view to accompany it. We were a group of 6 and nobody could fault a thing. Charming service, delicious food and of course fabulous wine.

I cant say enough about the staff in the cube especially Mary she was great as well as our teacher for the day unfortunately I have forgotten her name probably because we started at 10:30 in the morning on reds. In addition as always the...service staff in the verandah restaurant were fantastic and the meals to die for, Peter Reschke is an absolute genius and Jo manages the restaurant with poise and grace. A true credit to your team great work.More

My wife and I attended D’Arrys Verandah for lunch to celebrate my birthday. After visiting The Cube a must for wine tasting and the views, we settled in for the degustation menu. Fantastic food with nice accompanying wines. The service was terrific. The setting is...superb especially at this time of the year when everything is green. A very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon.More

This place never fails to deliver from the food to the service & the setting. The lobster & prawn ravioli entree was a standout also the passionfruit souffle for dessert is a must. Plenty of wine to choose from with great coffee to finish off...your lunch. Looking forward to dining here again soon.More

Our lunch was a later sitting on a sunny winters day in July. We were fortunate to score a table in front of the fire and slowly savour the degustation menu (with the lobster as an add on). Really lovely food, excellent service and a...peaceful, scenic setting. Faultless. Fine dining, without any pretentiousness.More
