Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Called in for a spot of breakfast and a coffee. I had poached eggs on sourdough toast with a side of bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the toast was hot and buttery. I love my sourdough, but it can sometimes be a double...edged sword - literally. A little overcooked and it can tear your mouth to shreds, but this was just right. The bacon was delicious and once again, cooked to perfection. Not crunchy and charry. It was honestly the best eggs and bacon I've had for a very long time and I made sure I let the staff know The coffee was good too. A great way to start a Sunday.More

This was a fabulous for a relaxed lunch. It was colder than expected on the day we visited but the enclosed outdoor area was the perfect spot for us as we had our dog with us. The food was fantastic, we would highly recommend the...corn stack and sheperds pie.More

My husband and I had lunch at Bracegirdles. My husband had salt and pepper squid which he enjoyed and I had a slow cooked pulled beef pie with mash on top with wilted spinach. It was a good serve and full of flavour. Bracegirdles menu...offers a good choice and their meals are consistently good, and are well priced, so much so, that it is one of our favourite places to lunch in McLaren Vale. It’s popular with local families too. Toilets are on site, no steps to entrance and parking is available at the back of the property.More

I stopped at the Cafe for the first time for lunch. I ordered a Stacked Hash with Poached eggs. The eggs were so runny the meal turned into a soup like running mash I ask for some sourdough bread to soak up the liquid mash....I was told I had to pay extra for the bread, which I refused. The waitress was rude and not appreciative off what I had tried to do. I ordered a chicken burger instead. Chicken was cold, made with no love and attention. Disgusting. No words. The toilets and the outer area need desperately to be cleaned. Run down and tiered place.More

We stopped in here for morning coffee. The coffee is. excellent: the cakes available here are mouth-watering including an excellent section of gluten free options. Generous portions at a bit above average cost, but so worth it.

We went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. We tried their chicken burger and shepherd's pie. As for the chicken burger, it is one of the best-tasting cafe burgers I have tried. It has the right amount of spice and goes well with the bacon...and everything inside. The portion is also quite huge for the buck. As for my wife, she had the most fantastic shepherd's pie. The beef strips (not ground) were so tender and soft and gave us a whole different concept of how a shepherd's pie should be. We finished off with their waffle dessert. It has fresh strawberries, bananas, and a generous loading of Belgian chocolate. Hands down, one of the best late lunches we had!More

Always a lovely place to pop in for a bite to eat. Can never go wrong with the chai and waffles for a sweet tooth like myself. There's a good range of food and beverages, with vegan options available, even some cheeky cocktails if you...may. Beautifully presented dishes and drinks made fresh by the lovely and Inviting staff whom are always happy to help, appreciate any feedback and strive for customer satisfaction.More

Took our Brisbane friends in for a morning cuppa. The setting is quaint rustic, and the staff very friendly. As for the hot chocolate, it was like drinking a bar of Cadbury milk chocolate - which to me was great ! Smooth, rich and just...the right temperature.More
