Without doubt the best restaurant in McLaren Vale. Definitely worth Michelin Stars. And it’s affordable. Will be back again and again. Staff are really good too.

Creative, delicious food matched with great service and wines! A magnificent way to spend a lunch in the Vale.
Had a lovely romantic lunch here to celebrate my partner's 40th. I couldn't fault a thing. The food was divine, service impeccable but not pretentious. Interesting combinations that paired delightfully with the museum wine collection.
Booked online for the Sunday degustation lunch and was very spoilt with perfect morsels of artistic deliciousness on every plate..the degustation was an amazingly good combination, a treat for the eyes and taste buds, such are the creative wonders from this talented chef. Great ambience,...lovely winery, nice location, attentive knowledgeable staff. Thanks guysMore
This restaurant is amazing with its lovely building, stunning views, outstanding service and above all the exquisite food -it was just so superb. The degustation was 7 courses and every dish looked beautiful and tasted extraordinary, with such fantastic blends of flavours and textures. Great...wine too with an excellent recommendation made by the waiter. It made for a very special night out and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.More
Absolutely stunning! Fabian is such a clever Michelin star chef with so much attention to detail. Presentation is extraordinary but taste even better!!! Thank you.
Fancy food. Great location and outlook. Ploughman lunch was a clever pairing or quality foods. Not really enough to fill us up for lunch though. Wines (Rose' and Chardonnay) were much to our liking and service was spot on until the bill, when a computer...problems had us waiting quite some time.More
Booked in for the ploughman’s lunch with interstate visitors. Arrival process was disappointing. Asked to mill around rather than a more customer friendly process. We would have been more than happy to buy a glass of wine during this time. Thereafter, once we were seated,...the service was good. Food was of high quality but there was simply not enough for four adults.More
Food and wine pairing and service exceptional. Highly recommended in all aspects including the view of the lovely Vale vineyards
What a memorable experience! Each course was paired beautifully with each of the Maxwell wines, the cured trout was an absolute winner along with the venison carpaccio. The added holiday desserts were also a lovely touch! Service was excellent, beautifully decorated restaurant overlooking the vines....Maxwell- dined indeed!More
