Very quaint. With old fashioned furnishings and lots to look at with local produce etc. (NB Now called Flavours of the Riverland - Home of Backyard Bread.) Don't expect to be served in a hurry - even the sign on the wall suggests you should...slow down. Coffee was OK when it eventually came. If you want a quick coffee or a better view of the lake there are other choices. This one just adds to them. Be warned that it is not open every day so check opening times.More

This is a great place to stop for some local produce. The handmade bread bites are very good our favorite was the Wattle seed, Balsamic onion and cracked pepper which had lots of flavor. We also bought some local Mettwurst, honey and a yummy Pear...Chutney.More

This cafe is now called 'Tastes of the Riverland' and highlights, sells and promotes Riverland products. A great place to relax for coffee and cake, light lunches and peruse products available in the Riverland.

Happened across this little gem thanks to the information centre at Berri. Fantastic lunch, friendly host and lovely atmosphere. We will definitely visit again. Lovely to see local produce for sale as well.
