Stopped off in Barmera to visit the cafe on a recent trip to the Riverland. I'd been told that this is one of the best in the area - I wasn't disappointed - long queue outside the door at 12.00 on a Saturday.

Best pasties and sweets especially pavlova. Large range of products, excellent service and friendly staff. Can sit out in enclosed area with fans when needed, very comfortable. Will definately spread the word. Excellent all over experience.

I had one of the best pies I’ve ever eaten - Lamb Shank with mash potato, it was so good full with lots of tender meat, The staff were ever so friendly, so glad we drove into town and stopped off. Parking was east with...our van on the backMore

The biggest and yummiest apricot slice ever! The custard slices wen't bad either! Definitely worth a visit as I am sure your favorite items will be there and while all country bakeries are good this one rates highly among them.

Visited here for a quick bite for lunch. A popular place with locals queueing up. Noice set up - entrance to the side where there is an undercover area with tables and benches - feels like a community picnic. Lots of elderly people with wheelchairs...there too. The small bakery has a range of pies, pasties, sausagerolls and cakes. The vanilla slice was heacenly and not too sweet. Went perfectly with my soy chai latte. EnjoyMore

called in to get morning Latte, went back for lunch, nice spot to sit in courtyard which was covered.

Great place to duck in for a bite, Did breakfast there three times over long weekend in Barmera. If you get there break with the lot, you will probably struggle to get through it and then skip lunch.
