Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were greeted by the publican who was very engaging and happy to have a chat. He told us we were lucky to be there for Happy hour 5-6pm. Very good seafood- go figure, as we are about 2000km from the water. Steaks were also...good. Beers were very cold.More

We had dinner at the Winton Hotel and it was yummy. We had the Outback chicken which had chicken and prawns which comes with chips and salad. Huge servings so we asked to share and they provided an extra plate. Would definitely recommend.

We asked four different residents of Winton and they all said "all are good but they all said dine at the Winton Hotel", and they weren't wrong. The best steak ever in a wonderful country atmosphere.

Easy to find and to park. East inside out out, the service is one of the best. Especially the wonderful woman taking our orders, such patience when the machine wouldn't accept gravy, we had a chuckle. The menu was varied and we made this pub...our place to go for all dinners. Steaks cooked to prefection.More

Located about 2 blocks from the town centre and an easy walk was the Winton Hotel. We were warmly welcomed by staff and enjoyed a couple of drinks. Heaps of memorabilia of times past with old equipment and items decorating the walls. Their Dining Room...was very unique with the collection of vintage items hanging off the walls. The front public bar had a “horseshoe-shaped” bar which we were told were rather scarce. Were able to watch the beautiful sunset and some kangaroos from the front bar.More

Great pub food. Very large portions for a good price. One of the best chicken parmigianas I have ever had. Staff were super friendly and kind. Recommend a stop there for a bit to eat.

We recently had dinner at the Winton Hotel. The service was friendly and promptly. The hungry teen boys were delighted by the huge meal they were served. All the meals were delicious. I gather from the owner/chef that staff shortages are a present issue and...wish the hotwl all the best in the future. Highly recommend this venue.More
