Fantastic Platter

We were visiting again for a few days and this time I organised with Kristy to collect a platter to save me the hassle of shopping and preparing for when we arrived. As usual Kristy and her cheerful manner make you feel welcome. The platter was fantastic and allowed us to pull into accommodation pour the wine open the platter box and enjoy. My husband loves the fact that Brinx sell Campos coffee which is his favourite so he went down every morning for his fix. I tell everyone to visit Brinx when visiting Stanthorpe it has such a great feel. Order a platter and make things easy on yourself the day of arrival you won't regret it. Thanks Kristy stand proud.

A wonderful breakfast and experience!

My partner and I took a road trip inland from Brisbane and one of our first stays was Stanthorpe. What a pretty town! So well cared for, clean and with flowers everywhere. A real find was Brinx Deli and Cafe. We ordered eggs and toast and I couldn't resist a garden salad on the side as it was the first time outside America that I have been able to get a salad with my eggs!! The service was spot on and even the youngest server was working hard. After breakfast, I bought truffle oil and relishes from the deli. What a find!!

Best in Stanthorpe

Sensational cafe and deli ! Perfect to pickup supplies for a picnic too. The breakfasts were delicious and the chai was the best in Stanthorpe Wonderful staff who were very accommodating to dietary needs. Favourite cafe!

I was a little taken back at the size of the portion. The service was quick, roughly 10mins though I was the only customer awaiting food at the time. I simply can’t justify the cost of the meal with the serving size. The quality of the small portion was good,however $15 for 1/2 and avocado and 1 1/2 bits of bread is just not justified, nor was it a filling breakfast.

Not what we expected

The reviews led us away from a magnificent pastry shop and to this cafe for something different. Sadly, our lunch here was only average. My husband was happy with his iced coffee and said the beef burger was ok. As a vegetarian I was reduced to a bowl of chips - a $6 (small) should be enough for lunch? No... $6 gets you one of those ornamental mini deep fryers of chips. I had a real lunch when we got home. Would not bother again.

Yummee Cashew Cheese and other deli items

We bought the makings of a cold platter ie salami, vegan cheese, sundried tomato, olives for lunch. Love the smoked garlic vegan cheese (Choose Gourmet Cashew Cheese. Yummeee! I really appreciate a nice vegan cheese as I am lactose intolerant. I went back to buy more before heading back home two days later. The sundried tomato was too oily for my friend. I found them a bit oily but still very nice. I loved the atmosphere of the deli though I didn't take much notice of the cafe area as I was focused on deli foods. They had a wide range of local foods and the service was very good. I loved the way they turned a misfortune into a laughing point too.

Missed out on waffles

Excellent selection of Deli goods, salami, cheese and local gourmet produce. However beware of cafe opening times. We went to Brinx twice in 3 days hoping for breakfast but each time were caught out by the opening times being for coffee only not for sit down breakfast. I was really hoping to try the Bacon and waffles that looked absolutely amazing on Facebook!

Deli-cious

If you’re looking for a good coffee and a great deli in Stanthorpe then check out Brinx Deli & Cafe. We didn’t have the pleasure of enjoying the cafe, but the coffee was fabulous and the selection of gourmet and local produce and goodies in the deli was outstanding. Makes us feel that the cafe is a must for next time. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming.

Great pies and pastries

Cafe was busy and full. Lovely lady making coffees in deli section said she could heat us up a pie and pastie and I’m so glad she did. Hubby said it was the best chicken pie he’d ever had, I opted for the curry vegetable pastie and it was amazing.

Pricey for what you get

My daughter raved about this place and insisted we go here for breakfast when we were traveling through. My grandkids as well really liked it however I wasn't overly impressed. The wait for our order was really long, the food, once served was luke warm at best and overpriced for what you get. I think you could get as good or better elsewhere at a lot more reasonable price. I would not say this is a must do, check around for other options, if I'd had a choice, I sure would have.

Friendly helpful staff and yummy food!

One of the best cafes in Stanthorpe that we went to during our holiday here. Welcoming warm country charm found here as well as tasty treats. I asked one of the patrons how he was enjoying his snack and he was a local who said that he had always enjoyed the snacks from there. Lovely staff who gave the time to chat about the products they have in their cafe/deli. We bought some lovely Bramble Patch products which are produced locally. These people fly the welcome flag while still complying with all health protocols.

Long wait

We waited for about 20mins to be served this morning as staffs just kept walking pass to pay for a biscuit and macaroons. We also wanted take away coffee but was told we needed to order it at the other counter. We went to that waited another 5 mins before walking out and buying a coffee across the road.

Hi there thanks for your feedback. When we did the shop fit out we tried to make it easier for the consumer. With this being said we made the deli side take away only and the cafe side for dine ins. This is so take away can get orders quickly & dine ins can be in a relaxed atmosphere. Sorry you had to wait so long to be served as we may have been a bit busy. Nothing more annoying then lining up & then realising you are in the wrong section. We will look into how we can improve this. Thank you 😁

Great coffee. They use Campos beans and almond milk that tastes like milk lab almond milk. Lovely staff and the food looked lovely too - good variety of sweets and sandwiches/paninis (although I didn’t try)

Brinx Cafe, a must do in Stanthorpe!

Brinx Cafè was an exceptional outing for our family. The coffee was made to perfection, the pies were exquisite, especially the chicken and leek and beef brisket pie. The staff were friendly and jovial, overall a great experience! Thanks Team!

Great little find in Stanthorpe

5 out of 5! This place was an absolute find in Stanthorpe. Great coffee, great food and great service. The chef even took time out of her busy morning to share her secret recipe for poached pears! Would highly recommend if in the area!
