Had been waiting for a great steak - found one! Perfectly cooked T-Bone on a cool Thursday night in Roma. Other family meals all equally great, good service and casual atmosphere that suited all sorts.

Fantastic place to eat we were there State of Origin night it was packed. Meals were brilliant I had the Nasi Goreng lovely. Bob had the special Ribs and wings huge
This place is hopeless! I rang to order a margarita pizza with shredded chicken for take away. When I had arrived to pick it up the girl had failed to place my order. NOT HAPPY. A lovely bloke then helped me to place another order...(the same) and it is NOT what I asked for. They will no long be getting my business.More
We had a wonderful meal at the Club Hotel and the service was outstanding. Would highly recommend a visit.
We chose this hotel due to wet weather and had home delivery. The order arrived late and cold. The food supplied was not to the standard we remembered from some months back. Would not recommend.
We were booked for dinner with a party of 30 odd people in the Beer Garden. Got bumped to a dining room which we filled making it noisy and lacking atmosphere. Two other very large groups at the hotel bar/bistro on the same night which...was probably over capacity!! Now to the food and service. The booking was for 6.00pm with pre-ordered meals at 7.00pm. The meals for our party started to arrive at about 7.45pm and came in type of dish ie bread, parmigiana first, followed bay salads, followed by steaks etc. Most were served by about 8.20pm!!!! However 8 meals were still missing some almost two hours after service was to commence. Those people were told their meals would be another 20 minutes at which point several people, including, me asked for a refund and went home. It transpired that those that stayed were given a refund and had their meals provided in a take away container somewhere around 10.00pm. Apparently those fortunate to be served were reasonable happy with the food. Service.... flustered staff, confusion with steak orders meaning one of our party had to take over directing food to tables!!!! So net result 2 or 3 people never received food and half a dozen ended up with a takeaway almost three hours late!!! Probably beyond appalling actually.More
Visited on Thursday 22nd July. We called in there to have a meal and drink. So glad we choose this pub, meals were great and reasonable price. Staff were friendly and beer cold, what more could you want.
Had a great Thursday night, $5 Great Northern pints, food was delicious and great variety. Bar staff were very efficient and collected our empty glasses promptly. And Scott gave us a lift home.
When we booked in service was pretty ordinary, not in any hurry to serve us. I expected because of the pandemic they would be more welcoming. The room was clean,cou6do with a ceiling fan. Close to shops and pubs.
We had dinner here the two nights we were in Roma. From the outside the Club appeared just like any tavern anywhere. Inside the staff could not have been more welcoming and the quality of the food was a fantastic surprise. Beautifully cooked with high...quality ingredients. So good we ate there twice.More
We dined at the Club as it is walking distance from our accommodation. The welcoming was friendly, pleased to see they were temperature testing at the door. Ambience in the dining area is lacking, laminate tables, bland decor. Reasonable range on the menu. My wife...enjoyed the crispy skin salmon with vegetables. I ordered the Kilkoy prime steak with chips and salad. I was disappointed with the steak which was well cooked and good taste it was quite chewy, not tender at all. Kitchen was busy but wait for the meals was reasonable.More
Underwhelming meal. The salmon dish presentation was underwhelming and overpriced. Staff were friendly.
We had a steak dinner - special of the night - and the meat was cooked to perfection, very tender and delicious. Salad, chips and vegies were good too.
En route from the West back to Brissy. Looks like the interior has been revamped and refurbished in Covid times. Well done crew, has great vibe. The staff were transitioning from Stage 2 to Stage 3 restrictions & may well have been their first night...back on deck in the restaurant. Only the second place I've had my temp taken prior to entry (other than in a city pharmacy). Great to see that the country areas so on the ball with infection control. Service was excellent. Menu popular with teenage son who gave a big tick to the meat lovers pizza (not all pubs haved decent pizzas - just ask him). As they say when in beef country best option is beef! Tasty food, cooked well, moderately priced. The Wagyu was excellent & also enjoyed the option of rice and salad cf to stock standard chips/mash and salad/vege. Drinks selection - great range of wine and beers. Keep up the good work Roma!More
I spoke at a Rotary meeting here one nigth. The meals were easy to order, and great tasting. A typical country pub, with fireplaces ( for the winter ) and great characters to talk to at the bar.
