Jules and Greg are a husband-and-wife team who set up this business in their own home. It's located close by the Post Office and is reached from the main street by a challenging (for mobility-impaired people) 5 steps to the house. Inside the cafe part of it has 3 or 4 tables and display cabinets with that day's goodies, all of them (including bread rolls) made in situ. We thoroughly enjoyed our "lunch" of a meat pie each, one coffee, one tea and one lemon slice ($32.00). Condiments were free. The pies were outstanding, with beautiful pastry and generous filling. A succession of locals kept coming in to place orders for the cakes and pastries that are made by them each day and after my delectable lemon slice I know why!

The cafe entrance is tucked around the side of the building when I was visiting, so not sure if that is usual procedure for the cafe. Well signed and directions are clear so you will not miss it! The coffee and food was delicious and prepared fresh! I asked for their recommendation and the sweet chilli chicken wrap was lovely and fresh, nice portion and freshly prepared. The lady who served me was very welcoming and lovely.
If you are looking for small town charm but big city coffee, you are coming to the right place!

Absolutely the best quality, cheap homemade food with a great menu with quite a lot of choices to choose from. They bake their own bread and oh my it was amazing, almost mouth watering. You definitely get your bang for your buck here. The lady who took the order was so nice and very helpful, and the lady who prepared our order personally bought it out to us and wished us a nice day. A must stop for sure!

You have to know where to look for this fantastic little cafe, but it is worth it. Quite a large menu, and they are willing and able to do modifications (within reason of course), I asked for the steak burger to be on a wrap and it was no problem. Incredibly filling and tasty, as was the iced chocolate. I got three of the home baked goodies to take away, and all were amazing (fresh cream in the Peach Blossom and home made caramel). A must visit

We stumbled on this place for coffee and cake. Very friendly service in a quirky little cafe set up in an old house.
It’s not particularly well advertised, so easy to miss. However the locals seem to know it well judging by the steady stream of people calling in and collecting phone orders.
Our hot and cold treats were delicious😊

Really enjoyed the home made pies, both savoury and sweet from Jules and Greg. Great food and good coffee. Highly recommend. The only down side is that it only has 2 small tables inside. I think you can sit on the verandah on the other side of the house. Good for take away too.

Thanks for your review, our home made " Treats "are popular with our locals as well as the travelers.
We do only have 2 tables inside , there are tables and chairs on the front veranda . we are able to seat 10 people out there. Being home based we are restricted in what we are able to offer. I think it's good to get take away and go the the lake, it's a lovely place to sit and enjoy !!

Quaint Cafe at the side of a residential home with sitting on the front verandah. Coffee very good, pie yummy, apple turnover and lemon tart delicious all home made.
