great kebabs

called in my first week in the area and had the best kebab I've tasted. Full of meats and doesn't leave you wanting.

Always grab lunch when in Oakey at this awesome place. Best kebabs and yummy Baklava, friendly service and fresh yummy food! Highly recommend

We were driving through Oakey on a Saturday afternoon and it was lunchtime. We looked into all the take away places in the Main Street and were attracted to the salads on display at Kabab Zone - all looked fresh and inviting. I am not eating wheat so could not have the wrap, but that was no problem - I was able to have a polystyrene 'plate' which was a big serve of fresh, mixed salad, on a bed of shaved chicken with mayo - delicious! We were able to sit at a table to eat. What made this an outstanding experience was the friendliness of the chef, Michael, and his staff. Despite the lunchtime rush in the shop, they welcomed and helped us as if we were their only customers. As the rush subsided they stopped to chat with us and gave us complimentary Turkish Delight. We will remember this shop next time we go through Oakey and hope it might be lunchtime!
