How is Oakey RSL rated?

We were told to book, now we know why. This is a hub of wonderful dining. The range of meal choices beat most larger town restraunts. then you can add either salad or vegetable at the hot/cold bench.

Great food, big portions

Better than general RSL food. We ate there 2 nights in a row. Ther servings were very large and all of the meals that came out were tasty and freshly cooked. I had the lamb cutlets the first nnight and the prok and fennel papadelli...pasta the second and both were delicious. I couldn't finish either. It's a small RSL, doesn;t look too flash, but the food is good, the people are friendly and they play the Last Post every evening at 7pm.More

Lunch for our group of four

I've been to many RSL clubs and the club staff were all very friendly. Lunch was served before a huge busload arrived and was fairly prompt. Unfortunately all of the meals were only pretty average. With 4 hungry people I was very surprised when none...of us finished the meal. So I'd say that lunch was not up to scratch. CheersMore

Always a good option

The Oakey RSL provides an excellent lunch menu at good value and caters well to the gluten intolerant. I had the beef roast of the day with gf gravy and it was excellent, as well as a generous portion.

Great effort.

Great meals, while in lockdown the rsl have been doing delivery service, the meals have been great and nice and hot when they arrive, their effort will not be forgotten and we will return to the club when open to the public. Well done guys.

Great place to meet

The RSL Services Club is a very well presented and clean place. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is great and have a good variety of meals. There is poker machines and keno as well as large tvs to just sit and watch...sports.More

Bloody brilliant

Foos is superb, drinks are cold, brilliant nothing else i could ask for. Im a steak burger fanatic and it was not on the menu, bar manager said no worries. Brilliant

Fantastic Menu and variety

So impressed with this place! I love the Buffet - such a great variety of good quality food, and lots of yummy healthy stuff too. The drinks are well priced as is the food and the atmosphere is lovely. Can highly recommend and will def...be adding to our local dining out place :-) Played Pool, got raffle tickets and just had a nice relaxing night. Def be back!More

RSL’s are brilliant

Value for money. Clean, friendly staff, huge choice of quality food at reasonable prices. Wish we had them in WA. Very large serves. All good. Thank you.

Monthly meeting for a group of old farming friends.

In the main street of Oakey easy to find the RSL is a top meeting place for local or those who are just passing through Good friendly service, meals are quickly served with friendly staff. Easy parking, and wheelchair access.

Loads of people there for lunch. Heaps of food on offer and there was plenty of on street parking. Happy days

Group lunch

The 100 or so people descended on the RSL Club for lunch which was order of the menu. The Seniors menu got a workout for $10 it was a bonus and plenty on the plate. The Club is very relaxed and the setting is typical...small town Club. They did very well to cope with the numbers, with quick service and quality food.More

Country RSL

Meals were decent size and affordable. Building is quite old and probably needs a coat of paint or two. Service was friendly and beer was cold. Pretty much all you can ask for from a small town RSL

nice food

We had lunch here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The service was fast and very friendly. Plenty on the menu to choose from and an affordable price. Will return again if in Oakey.
